Commercial Roofing Superintendent – Low Slope Systems

Monroe, LAHourly + Quarterly Bonus · Company Vehicle · Health/401kPosted June 17, 2026

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Superintendent to take ownership of our low slope commercial projects from pre-construction through final completion. You'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for safety, quality, and efficiency on every job you run — managing crews, subcontractors, schedules, and client relationships to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to spec. We specialize in TPO, Modified Bitumen, PVC, metal, and steep slope systems, and we're on a mission to set the industry standard for safety, craftsmanship, and client experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise crews on commercial low slope roofing projects (TPO, Modified Bitumen, and similar systems).
  • Own job-site safety — enforce PPE compliance, run safety briefings, and correct hazards immediately.
  • Keep projects on schedule and on budget; track labor hours, materials, and equipment against estimates.
  • Maintain meticulous daily job notes, field reports, and photo documentation for every active site.
  • Perform detailed quality inspections (penetrations, edges, drains, scuppers, curbs, transitions) before close-out.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, sales reps, and the Production Manager on progress, issues, and changes.
  • Uphold Brown's Roofing's standards of integrity, accountability, and excellence in every interaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of hands-on experience in commercial low slope roofing, with proven crew leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational skills — you keep clean, accurate, and timely job files and reports without being chased for them.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commercial roofing installation practices.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communicator who can manage subcontractors, crews, and clients with professionalism under pressure.
  • Bilingual is a bonus but not a requirement.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive hourly pay plus a quarterly performance bonus (up to $2,000/quarter) based on efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Cell phone allowance and company-provided laptop.
  • Per diem and travel expenses covered for out-of-town jobs.
  • Paid time off and employee benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).
  • Company vehicle.
  • A growing company with real advancement opportunity as we expand into new markets.
